We designed Aracna to be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. We also use advance manufacturing techniques and extremely high quality materials to ensure that you and your family enjoy your ZipString Aracna for years to come!

Our first batch of Aracnas has already finished production and is on the way to our warehouse. We currently expect all Kickstarter orders to ship by the end of October 2025.

Not only is the ZipString Aracna fun for all ages, it has multiple patents and is built with aerospace grade materials, making sure it will be enjoyed for years to come.

We've decided to launch our third product exactly four years after the original ZipString campaign went live because crowdfunding keeps us close to you, our customer.

Crowdfunding makes it so we don't have to seek more outside investment. Because of that we are able to continue creating awe inspiring toys for all ages to enjoy without fancy board room suits telling us what to create (besides Austin and Stephen).

Risks and challenges

The are two main risks of backing a Kickstarter project are: 1. Will it get made? 2. Will it ship on time? ZipString has a proven record on and off of Kickstarter. With a successful first campaign and over 2 million ZipStrings shipped across the globe, we are confident that our backers will receive the exact product they are expecting and on time. What's more, we already finished development and have placed our first purchase order with our factory. All Kickstarter Aracnas are currently in production. We expect all Kickstarter orders to be shipped by the end of October. That gives plenty of time for holiday gifting!

Long-lasting design

We use aerospace grade materials, super high quality components and strings to ensure long lasting use. We use ultrasonic welding to reduce plastic emissions and increase durability of the product. We also have patented processes and trade-secret tools we use to create some of our components so that they last longer than anything else on the market.

Environmentally friendly factories

We vet every one of our manufacturers to make sure that they adhere to our guidelines on environmental standards and any waste produced during the manufacturing process is recycled. We also developed special machinery for them to reduce waste during the manufacturing process.

Sustainable Distribution

We have optimized our packaging to reduce the amount of space taken up in shipping. Our goal is to reduce the shipping weight and dimensions to reduce shipping carbon. The lightweight design of our product (under 7oz) reduces space, packaging, and shipping carbon.
